A tangible pressure surged from him like a raging tide.
Lightning flickered around him. Silver-white arcs of electricity crawled across his armor, coiled above his head, and exploded through the seawater beneath his feet.
The entire sea was illuminated by that lightning, and the red glow of lava paled before it.
Mounted on the eight-legged steed Sleipnir, he hovered in the seawater like a deity reigning over the nine heavens.
That pressure was enough to make one tremble.

"It seems you truly are suited to becoming Dragon Kind. You've adapted to their way of thinking so quickly."
"No." Amon smiled. "It isn't that I think like a dragon. It's that humans and dragons are not so different, really. Both can be understood and inferred through the same way of thinking."
He paused, then said with a hint of teasing, "Also, may I ask you a question?"
"Speak."
"How many horses do you even have?"
Amon looked utterly serious, as though he
