Xiao Wu advanced, her second hundred-year soul ring shining yellow around her. Even her eyes glowed pink.
"That won't work on me!" Su Chen smiled confidently, avoiding her gaze.
Xiao Wu's Charm had one major weakness: against an opponent familiar with her soul skill, all they had to do was avoid looking into her eyes, and her Charm would be helpless against them.
Su Chen stomped down hard. Light flashed beneath his feet, and his soul power let out an explosive crack. He had already evaded Xiao Wu's close-range attack.
Third Soul Skill: Instantaneous Movement
After her first strike failed, Xiao Wu's third soul ring, a thousand-year ring, immediately shone purple. She pursued him relentlessly, teleporting beside Su Chen and striking out with her delicate hand.

Xiao Wu's fist punched straight through Su Chen.
But a ripple of energy spread out. What Xiao Wu had struck was not Su Chen's body, but a rock. Unable to withstand her terrifying strength, it burst apart.
"Substitution Technique?"
A smug smile curled Xiao Wu's lips. When her strike failed, her body turned illusory the very instant she realized Su Chen had used the Substitution Technique. Almost immediately, she appeared five meters away. Su Chen appeared there at the same time.
"Huh?"
Su Chen exclaimed in surprise. He had never expected Xiao Wu to react so swiftly in that fleeting instant, as brief as a white horse flashing past a crack.
By the time Su Chen realized what had happened, Xiao Wu was already right up against him.
Xiao Wu began circling gracefully around Su Chen's body, pressed close to him. One moment she was on his shoulder, the next on his back. When Su Chen tried to grab her, she slipped back onto his shoulder.
