After leaving Jiayun Pass, Su Chen knew that war between humans and beasts was unavoidable. Before departing the pass, he sent a message to his companions abroad: whether they had completed their missions or not, they were all to meet him in the God Prohibition Great Forest.
Xie Yue, Yan, Shui Yue'er, Hu Liena, Mu Yan, Xu Yu, and Zhang Ping had now arrived in the God Prohibition Great Forest in obedience to Su Chen's instructions.
"Fourth Brother, I didn't let you down. These are the human deities I brought." Yan, the God of Fire, smiled proudly.
"And these are mine," Shui Yue'er, the River God, added.
"There was too little time. If I'd had longer, I could have persuaded more people," Mu Yan, the Forest God, said next.
Behind each of them stood a varying number of humans. Mu Yan, the Forest God serving under the Goddess of Life, had brought the most of all.
Off to the side, Xie Yue, Zhang Ping, Xu Yu, and Hu Liena looked deeply dejected. All four had come alone, having failed to win over a single human.
"Xie Yue, Pingping, Boss Xu, Nana, there's no need for you four to feel embarrassed. You're the God of Evil, the God of Wind, Su Chen, and the God of Lust, respectively, serving under the God of Evil, the Goddess of Kindness, and the God of Destruction. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter how many humans accept the existence of divine beasts. As long as you're safe and sound, I'm satisfied," Su Chen reassured them.
Although Xie Yue, Zhang Ping, Xu Yu, Hu Liena, and the others had obtained their respective divine positions, their predecessors had withheld the authority those positions should have granted them because of Su Chen, compounded by interference from
