Lin Tian's voice rang out.
"What?"
Kunpeng immediately appeared a short distance from Lin Tian, his face full of astonishment.
"Can't you understand me?"
Lin Tian glared at Kunpeng.
He felt that Tathagata could not die yet.
Tathagata was the Buddhist Sect's only remaining Buddha. If he died too, its ranks would be leaderless, and those mighty figures would naturally flee.
Besides, Tathagata was resilient and possessed tremendous perseverance.

Kunpeng hesitated, then gritted his teeth and nodded. A mere Tathagata was hardly someone he feared.
Then Kunpeng opened a breach in the illusory realm and blasted the blazing sun in the sky out through it.
"Dao Venerable, what about my primordial spirit?"
Kunpeng stepped forward and looked at Lin Tian eagerly.
Lin Tian smiled faintly. "When did I ever say I would return your primordial spirit?"
Kunpeng instantly flew into a rage, his murderous fury surging to the heavens.
"Didn't you promise me..."
Kunpeng roared, but his voice abruptly stopped.
"I said I would return your primordial spirit if you killed Tathagata and Randeng. But you didn't kill them."
Lin Tian's smile was dazzling.
Patriarch Kunpeng nearly broke down. Indeed, that was what Lin Tian had said.
"But I already followed your orders and suppressed Randeng!"
Patriarch Kunpeng's eyes were bloodshot, flashing with savage light.
Lin Tian lifted the corners of his mouth. "That was your punishment."
"Kunpeng, just behave yourself and go back to the Northern Sea. Stop coming out here to make a spectacle of yourself."
Zhen Yuanzi appeared with a beaming smile, the Earth's Embryonic Membrane above his head shielding him from the illusory realm.
Pfft!
Kunpeng
