Of Hongjun's first two sermons, the first had covered the Great Luo Golden Immortal Dao, and the second the Quasi-Saint Dao.
The final sermon, however, covered the Sage Dao.
Most of the worldly cultivators in the Purple Heavens Palace were only at the great Luo golden immortal realm, so naturally, they listened as though lost in clouds and mist.
After all, many of them still had only a hazy understanding of the Quasi-Saint Dao Hongjun had taught last time, let alone the Sage Dao!
Throughout the Primordial World, the only known experts in the sage realm were Hongjun and Daoist Yangmei.
Apart from those two, Jieyin, Zhunti, the Three Pure Ones, Nüwa, and the others had all attained sagehood through primordial purple qi and Heavenly Dao merit.
That alone showed how profound and intricate the Sage Dao was!
Great opportunity and extraordinary comprehension alone could no longer explain it.
Hongjun, however, did not care about any of this.
How many sages the Primordial World produced was of no importance to him.
His purpose in delivering three sermons at the Purple Heavens Palace was to earn immense merit for himself, making it easier to merge with the Heavenly Dao.
Once the three sermons ended, his merit would be complete.
As for how many people could comprehend them?
It did not matter.
Three thousand years of preaching passed in a flash, and almost at the very instant those three thousand years were up, Hongjun stopped.
Within the great hall, the many mighty figures of the Primordial World awoke from the dao resonance the moment Hongjun's sermon ended, their faces showing the relief of a heavy burden lifted.
The Great Dao of sages was simply too difficult for them!
