Ch. 1521Demon Emperor's Dominance
Plot points and events
- Demon Emperor Daochen and his allies move against two remaining Four-Star worlds. Daochen engages one world’s Great Accomplishment powerhouse while Jin Yang’s five-person Lone Wanderer group attacks the other.
- Jin Yang’s group quickly kills the opposing leader and enters his world. There, their five Great Accomplishment cultivators have the advantage.
- Daochen’s opponent summons a huge force—over a million fighters—and brings out two more Great Accomplishment powerhouses. The enemy world has three in total, but no Perfection Realm cultivator.
- Daochen battles all three at once with the Heaven Measuring Ruler, using Sword Slash, Blade Slash, and Extreme Speed to keep them on the defensive. His Invincible Aura briefly stuns them, allowing him to kill their leader.
- The two survivors offer peace and warn that they could flee and retaliate later. Daochen refuses to let them go and challenges them to try escaping.
- As the fight continues, someone warns of a sneak attack, and Daochen senses an incoming strike from behind.
Character developments and interactions
- Daochen is confident and aggressive, dismissing the enemy’s strength and pressing his advantage even when outnumbered. He also recognizes the tactical value of his aura’s stunning effect.
- Jin Yang is bold and assured that his group can defeat the second world’s forces; his team quickly proves capable.
- The three enemy commanders begin confident but grow frightened when Daochen withstands and overwhelms them. After their leader dies, the remaining two turn to bargaining and threats.
- Daochen coordinates with Xinghui and Alute, ordering their forces summoned despite the expected losses.
Significant themes
- Strength versus numbers: Daochen’s individual power challenges a vast army and three elite opponents.
- Strategy and risk: Worlds preserve their strongest fighters, while commanders must decide whether to summon reinforcements, fight, retreat, or negotiate.
- Confidence and intimidation: Daochen’s refusal to retreat unsettles his enemies, while their threats reveal their desperation.
- The cost of war: Both sides accept that direct conflict will bring casualties, but neither is willing to yield.
