• After the old man died, Liu Xing mourned at his grave, then fought off a colony of Spotted Mice and roasted their king.
• A damaged spaceship crashed near Liu Xing, who watched the Black-Clad Woman battle two masked men and killed their injured leader when he tried to use him.
• Liu Xing carried the unconscious Black-Clad Woman to his cave and opened the Small Copper Box she wore, releasing a yellow phantom that entered his body.
• The yellow phantom awakened Liu Xing’s inner sight and led him to a cave at Sky-Peak Volcano, where it swallowed a dragon-shaped soul spirit and Liu Xing found Fire Vein Spirit Jade.
• The Black-Clad Woman woke and attacked Liu Xing, then questioned him about the missing Small Copper Box and learned that the Spirit-Devouring Beast was inside him.
• The Black-Clad Woman explained the beast’s powers and the Five Uglies of Meng Mountain’s ambush, while Liu Xing hid his discovery of the cave and Fire Vein Spirit Jade.
• The Black-Clad Woman stayed in Liu Xing’s cave to recover, and Liu Xing left determined to grow stronger and find a way off Connors Star with Lu Xuanqing’s help.

Liu Xing and Lu Xuanqing survived the Icehorn Giant Bear’s advance and uncovered a Water Vein Spirit Jade, but Lu Yangong’s betrayal forced Lu Xuanqing away with the Bai Family. With Sun Yanbo hiding on Connors Star, Liu Xing sought him out and became the target of his possession attempt.

• Liu Xing accompanied Lu Xuanqing on a hunt, killed the Golden-Eyed Eagle in secret, and found a Wood Vein Spirit Fruit inside it.
• Liu Xing and Lu Xuanqing followed the fleeing beasts north and discovered that the Icehorn Giant Bear was spreading a glacier across Connors Star.
• Liu Xing and Lu Xuanqing killed the Icehorn Giant Bear, found a Water Vein Spirit Jade in its head, and Lu Xuanqing used it to heal and strengthen herself.
• Bai Hengqiu’s fleet arrived, and Lu Yangong appeared with it, claiming the Heavenly Demon Sect planned to ally with the Bai Family and relocate its headquarters.
• The Spirit-Devouring Beast warned Liu Xing that Lu Yangong meant Lu Xuanqing harm, so Lu Xuanqing pretended to abandon Liu Xing and agreed to leave with Lu Yangong and Bai Hengqiu.
• Lu Yangong and Sun Yanbo fought in space over Lu Yangong’s alliance with the Lin Household and Bai Family, and Lu Yangong weakened Sun Yanbo with the heavenly decline of the five signs.
• Lu Yangong left with Lu Xuanqing while Bai Hengqiu took the fleet toward the Ice Phoenix System, and Sun Yanbo secretly hid on Connors Star.
