This was easy enough to understand.
Before finding this island, they had relied on their own strength to fly over the Chaos Sea.
But after reaching the island, they had solid ground beneath their feet and naturally no longer needed to expend power on that.
Some of the danger inherent in the Chaos Sea had vanished as well.
There was still a problem, however. Their expenditure had decreased, but they could not replenish their strength from this island.
Thus, the island's only value was as a place to set foot.
