Old Man Quan burst into laughter.
"You're practically praising me to the heavens! Honestly, I'm not that good. I'm merely fantastic! Hahahaha!"
"But thank you, little Geng Shu. You helped me earn another few tens of thousands of taels of silver."
Geng Shu chuckled. "You're welcome. I made money too!"
"Come on!" Old Man Quan told them at once. "Let's go eat. My treat! Haha, I made far too much today."
"If I don't treat you, even Heaven will be angry."
"Let's go, let's go!" Xu Tong replied immediately. "A senior treating us? That's a rare occasion indeed."
Geng Shu burst out laughing.
Come to think of it, Old Man Quan had actually had money before, but he had never treated anyone.
Now that he had won his match and made so much money, the fellow was finally willing to bleed a little.
Xu Tong and Geng Shu ate and drank with him until the afternoon.
Old Man Quan drank three or four jars of wine. Neither of them had known he could drink so much.
