As you can probably tell, this book is already in its final stretch. The hardest parts of a book to write are the beginning and the ending, and the further along I get, the harder it becomes. I often sit staring blankly at my computer, trying to work out the plot, only to write a pile of unusable drafts. I just can't write tonight, so I'm taking a day off to clear my head and get myself back in the right frame of mind. Get some rest early too, folks, and come back to read tomorrow. This should be my last day off this month.
