"Whew! Xihe!"
Tongtian abruptly opened his eyes. Before him lay the same desolate ruins.
In that fleeting instant,
a voice seemed to have reached his ears, calling to him, yet also carrying a mysterious connection,
abruptly pulling Tongtian out of his meditative cultivation.
"How strange. This feeling seems to come from my bloodline."
"Could it be something in the Primordial World...?"
A thought flashed through Tongtian's mind,
but he immediately shook his head with a helpless smile.
"It's been over two hundred years since I left the Primordial World, hasn't it? Staying here, I've lost all sense of time. But Xihe's child should have been born long ago."
"I must have been worrying too much about the Primordial World lately to imagine something like that. I still need to find a way out of here as soon as possible. There isn't much time left before the thousand-year deadline."
After murmuring to himself for a moment, Tongtian slowly rose.
He kicked aside the giant skull by his feet, which stood over half a man's height. It instantly turned to ash and vanished entirely into the wind.
He could no longer remember how long he had been inside this void-like Divine Sword Space.
Tongtian could only silently count the more than three hundred skeletons of all shapes he had encountered. Every one had possessed strength just slightly above his own cultivation.
Thus, even though he had won every time, Tongtian had endured countless dangers and nearly lost his life on many occasions.
The one constant was that every skeleton had an immensely powerful Spirit Treasure embedded in its body, each allowing Tongtian to sense different powers flowing within!
But as the skeletons revived and died in battle,
their Spirit Treasures also turned to ash, leaving nothing behind but enormous Inner Cores.
