When Konan came back to her senses, she felt an irresistible pull toward the man before her, one that left her unable to defy or refuse him. She also knew with absolute clarity that even in death, she would never betray him-the man she had chosen to serve, Shin Uchiha.
Once Konan recovered from her daze, Shin Uchiha smiled and said, "Konan, get up. We're on the same side now. There's no need to be so formal."
As he spoke, Shin Uchiha helped Konan up from where she was still kneeling on one knee.
Knowing that she now served Lord Shin, Konan dispensed with the formalities and rose with his help.
After that, Shin Uchiha and the three women settled into a pleasant conversation.
Uchiha Izumi and Uchiha Ye were Lord Shin's maids, while Konan was his subordinate. Their duties differed, but their standing was much the same, so they got along fairly well as they exchanged compliments.
Konan's ninjutsu belonged to a system entirely her own, so Shin Uchiha did not teach her any techniques she had no use for. He did, however, leave a space mark between her eyebrows, giving her a way to escape a life-or-death crisis.
At the very least, if she ran into that lunatic Obito Uchiha, she would be able to escape safely after blasting him to hell with explosive tags.
That was still a long way off, though. Shin Uchiha might deal with Obito before Konan ever found herself in that situation.
To Shin Uchiha, the current Obito Uchiha was little more than a beaten stray. During their encounter, Shin Uchiha had taken him down almost instantly.
Shin Uchiha simply had no intention of finishing him off yet, since he still needed him to revive Madara Uchiha. Otherwise, the moment Obito Uchiha left
