Asuma Sarutobi?
Shin Uchiha gave Tsunade a surprised look.
He had never expected someone he had long since forgotten to suddenly turn up now.
Shin Uchiha had never had much contact with Asuma. Back then, he had been an unremarkable member of the Uchiha Clan, while Asuma had been the Third Hokage's youngest son. Their standing had been worlds apart, and his being an Uchiha had given them even less reason to cross paths.
At that thought, Shin Uchiha asked curiously, "Asuma's back? How strong is he? What are you planning to do with him?"
Tsunade rubbed her temples with a headache and answered:
"His strength is nothing special. He did improve somewhat during his years away, but only so much.
His talent is average, too, nowhere near the Third Hokage's in his day. Right now, he barely meets the standard for a Jōnin. Compared with an Elite Jonin like Kakashi, though, he's far behind in both strength and experience."
"As for what to do with him, that's giving me a headache. Back then, he was the Hokage's son, so he could afford to throw a tantrum and run away from home. Out of respect for the Third Hokage, no one would say anything.
Now that he's back, I can't just brush him aside. I am the Third Hokage's disciple, after all.
He has his own wishes, too. He wants to lead a team of new graduates as their instructor.
Honestly, with his strength as a Jōnin, he's more than qualified.
The problem is that he wants this generation's Ino-Shika-Cho team. There's no way I can agree to that.
The Ino-Shika-Cho families are staunch supporters of the Hokage. I can't hand them over to Asuma."
Tsunade frowned in frustration, then continued:
"With Asuma's intelligence, he probably wouldn't have come up
