Shin Uchiha heard Kushina's request and nodded in agreement.
"Whether or not you agree to my demand, I'll let you see little Naruto."
After saying this, Shin Uchiha glanced at Xiangling and continued:
"As for Naruto's life, you don't need to worry. Ever since Xiangling came to Konoha, she's taken him in and treated him as her own son. Besides, Naruto has now graduated from the Ninja Academy and can support himself."
Hearing Shin's words finally put Kushina much more at ease. She looked at Kōrei Uzumaki with tears in her eyes and said gratefully:
"Thank you, Little Maruko. If it weren't for you, who knows how much little Naruto would have suffered."
Xiangling merely smiled and shook her head at Kushina's thanks.
"Kushina, it was only right. If our positions were reversed, I'm sure you would have done the same. Besides, little Naruto is very considerate. I truly see him as my own son."
Having said this, Xiangling turned to Shin with some curiosity.
"Shin, we were talking about Kushina. What does little Naruto have to do with this?"
Shin Uchiha pointed at his eyes and said with a rueful smile:
"Don't underestimate Naruto. He's the Child of Destiny of this Shinobi World. Not only did he prevent a terrifying being from returning to life, but he later became the Seventh Hokage and a leading force against the powerful enemy who invaded the Shinobi World. I'm not too sure how it all ended, since my eyes didn't see that part. What I do know is that Naruto struggled terribly in his battle against that invader."
Shin Uchiha paused and looked at the two bewildered women before sighing again.
"Never mind. I'd better let you see for yourselves. Otherwise, you won't understand that the enemies of the future fight on
