Yet after the couple died, Jiraiya paid no attention to the child they left behind, Naruto Uzumaki.
Otherwise, given Jiraiya's standing in Konoha, making Naruto's childhood a little better would have been effortless.
Perhaps he had never imagined that the Third Hokage would go so far.
