As Isobu roared in fury, an enormous, terrifying column of water blasted from his mouth toward Shin Uchiha in the sky.

Yet even facing the enraged Three-Tails, Shin Uchiha remained calm and said in an even tone:

"Three-Tails, it's been a few years. It seems you've slept yourself stupid. Or have you forgotten me, to dare show me such disrespect?"

As Shin Uchiha spoke calmly, he extended his right hand, turning his palm toward the enormous column of water hurtling at him.

"Six Paths: Preta Path-Devour."

At Shin Uchiha's casual words, the enormous Iron Cannonball unleashed by the Three-Tails seemed to meet its natural counter. It dissolved into streams of water that were absorbed into Shin Uchiha's right hand, while he remained floating in place without moving an inch.

In fact, had Shin Uchiha dodged or used large-scale ninjutsu to block the Three-Tails' Iron Cannonball, the Three-Tails would have continued attacking him.

What the Three-Tails had never expected, however, was that his opponent would absorb his ninjutsu so quietly and effortlessly. The sheer strangeness of it instantly snapped him out of his rage.

Only then did the Three-Tails finally get a clear look at the person before him. He froze on the spot, at a loss for what to do.

"Shin Uchiha-no, Lord Uchiha! I didn't know it was you. Forgive my offense just now."

The Three-Tails had initially called Shin Uchiha by name, but when he saw those eyes, identical to the Sage of Six Paths', staring coldly at him,
