While the Three-Tails was still agonizing over the decision, Shin Uchiha saw that it had yet to agree, and his expression slowly grew more animated. His eyes fixed on the Three-Tails, whose head alone protruded from the water, and the corners of his lips curled slightly as he said pointedly:
"Three-Tails, it seems you still haven't understood your place. In that case, let's take this conversation somewhere else."
The Three-Tails was indeed still a little hesitant, but it reacted immediately upon hearing Shin Uchiha's words. Just as it was about to say something, all it saw was Shin Uchiha extending his right hand toward it:
"Six Paths, Deva Path-Banshō Ten'in."
The Three-Tails had already been about to agree, only to find itself caught in Shin Uchiha's Banshō Ten'in. Before it could utter a word, an overwhelmingly powerful gravitational force seized its enormous body. Without so much as a moment's delay, it was dragged out of the water and sent flying toward Shin Uchiha, utterly powerless to resist.
But why would Shin Uchiha let a soaking-wet creature like the Three-Tails get close? As it approached, his Rinnegan flashed almost imperceptibly, and he adjusted the angle of his outstretched right hand:
"Six Paths, Deva Path-Shinra Tensei!!"
This time, however, Shin Uchiha put far more power into Shinra Tensei than he had into Banshō Ten'in. Coupled with the slight adjustment he made to its direction, the massive Three-Tails was hurled away in an instant, plunging toward the distant hills.
Boom, boom!
After all, the Three-Tails was a tailed beast-and a gigantic one at that, with thick hide, tough flesh, and a spiked turtle shell.
Thus, after Shin Uchiha blasted it away, it became an enormous mountain of flesh, crashing gracelessly onto the distant hills amid a series of thunderous booms.
