After working so hard and succeeding, surely a little reward wasn't too much to ask. Qiu Shan Uchiha silently thought as he looked at Uchiha Mikoto, who had appeared before him.
This was another clever use for the space mark. Since it was placed on a person and became one with them, Uchiha Mikoto could activate it to enter Takamagahara Space. Naturally, as the master of this space, Qiu Shan Uchiha could also activate the mark to summon Mikoto into it.
He had spent the entire week busy with Whirlpool Island and Shisui Uchiha. On top of that, Uchiha Itachi had finished his mission and returned home. Apart from the time Mikoto had come to see him, Qiu Shan Uchiha had not sought out Uchiha Mikoto during that period to attend to that great matter of life.
Now Shisui Uchiha had been rescued, and the Uchiha Clan had left Konoha according to his plan. Nothing that remained was particularly important; he only needed to take things step by step.
So Qiu Shan Uchiha quite naturally summoned Uchiha Mikoto to spend some time together. He was also answering the Uchiha Clan's recent call to help the clan grow and prosper.
Uchiha Mikoto had already begun to wake when Qiushan summoned her. After all, she could still feel that the blanket covering her had disappeared.
Still groggy, Uchiha Mikoto propped up her upper body, making the ample curves beneath her loose pajamas all the more apparent, and looked half-awake at the person who had appeared before her.
When Mikoto saw that it was Qiu Shan Uchiha, she breathed a sigh of relief. Ever since getting together with Qiushan, Uchiha Mikoto had slept alone at night. Having someone suddenly appear before her in the middle of the night had given her quite a fright.
Uchiha Mikoto rubbed her eyes and asked sleepily, "Qiushan, did you need something, coming to see me so late?"
It was rare for Qiu Shan Uchiha to see Mikoto so sleepy, and he smiled. He deftly stripped off his clothes, stepped forward to embrace her, and buried his face against her neck. Taking a deep breath of her scent, he answered in a muffled voice, "I missed you, Mikoto, so I came."
Held in Qiushan's arms, Uchiha Mikoto hugged him back, though her voice carried a hint of worry. "I've missed you too, Qiushan. But Itachi has been in the village these past few days, and that boy is far too perceptive. He even noticed that Fugaku and I were sleeping in separate rooms. Luckily, Fugaku helped cover for me, so he didn't grow suspicious."
Seeing Uchiha Mikoto still worrying, Qiu Shan Uchiha couldn't resist kissing her on the lips. Amused, he said, "You sleepy little thing. Take a look at where you are."
At Qiu Shan Uchiha's reminder, Uchiha Mikoto carefully examined the room's furnishings and finally realized that Qiushan had summoned her into his space.
Realizing where she was, Uchiha Mikoto let out another sigh of relief. She kissed Qiushan, then complained, "All you do is tease me, Qiushan. You brought me here without a word. If you could do this, why didn't you summon me sooner? Or have you finally grown tired of me?"
Watching Uchiha Mikoto act as though she had been possessed by a born actress, Qiu Shan Uchiha hadn't expected Mikoto to have this side to her. Though he knew she was putting it on, Qiushan hurried to reassure her, explaining that he really had been busy lately, not that he hadn't missed her. While he soothed her, however, Qiu Shan Uchiha's hands seemed to have minds of their own and wouldn't stay still.
After they had spent quite a while being affectionate, Qiu Shan Uchiha seemed to remember something. Smiling at Mikoto, who clung to him and refused to get up, he said, "Mikoto, I forgot to tell you some good news. I sent Itachi out on a mission with Shisui. You don't need to worry about him noticing anything unusual about you."
Though Uchiha Mikoto did not concern herself with the Uchiha Clan's affairs, as the Clan Leader's wife, she still had fairly reliable sources of information. Curious, she asked, "Wasn't Shisui Uchiha killed by Danzo? And didn't Itachi volunteer to keep vigil for Shisui today? How is Shisui not only alive, but out on a mission with Itachi at your orders?"
Holding Mikoto in his arms, Qiu Shan Uchiha told her about what he had been doing lately.
Once Qiushan had finished, Uchiha Mikoto gave him a sly look and said, "Qiushan, I have some good news for you too."
Seeing Mikoto's expression, Qiu Shan Uchiha asked uncertainly, "Are you pregnant, Mikoto? Or have you been feeling nauseous?"
Mikoto shook her head. "Not yet. It couldn't happen that quickly."
Then, with a blush on her face, Uchiha Mikoto whispered into Qiu Shan Uchiha's ear, "These next few days are my lucky days. If you put in a little more effort, Qiushan, there's a very good chance it'll happen."
Qiu Shan Uchiha was no longer an inexperienced novice who knew nothing, and he naturally understood what Mikoto meant. His arms tightened around her as he asked again, "Really, Mikoto?"
Her face flushed, Uchiha Mikoto nodded shyly without saying another word.

Neither of them was easily bested, so the battle was fierce, until Qiu Shan Uchiha used the powerful new move he had learned.
That stimulation utterly routed Uchiha Mikoto, leaving her unable to resist any longer.
By the time they had both had their fill, cleaned themselves up, and left the space, dawn had already broken. Seeing that it was light outside, Uchiha Mikoto said a quick goodbye to Qiushan and hurried off to prepare breakfast.
Although Uchiha Mikoto no longer had any feelings for Uchiha Fugaku, she still had two children. For their sake, she had to play her role as a devoted wife and loving mother. Of course, if Qiushan wanted her to leave this family and be with him, she would choose him without hesitation.
