When Obito Uchiha saw what Guy was doing, a sneer curled his lips. Without even acknowledging him, he charged toward Kakashi.

But to Obito Uchiha's surprise, after Guy kicked toward him and passed through his body, Guy did not stop. He kept hurtling forward at tremendous speed, leaving Obito Uchiha momentarily stunned.

While Obito Uchiha was distracted, Guy had already reached Kakashi. He planted a foot against Kakashi's chest, sending him flying backward and out of the path of Obito Uchiha's next attack.
"Kakashi, this isn't the time to space out! Fire a signal flare and notify Lord Shin!"
Guy was not particularly clever, but he knew the reason he could not hit the man before him was that his opponent specialized in Space-Time Ninjutsu.
And only someone else who specialized in Space-Time Ninjutsu could deal with him.
Their most pressing task was therefore to notify Lord Shin Uchiha and have him hurry over to help.
After Guy kicked Kakashi away, the intense pain snapped him back to his senses. He quickly steadied himself, and with a thought, activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, fixing his gaze on Obito Uchiha a short distance away.

He knew that Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan directly countered his intangibility. If he recklessly advanced, their combined attacks might well injure him.
