Viserys paused. Only then did he remember that Clinton might have sent them a raven saying the Prince of Dorne had invited him to visit Dorne.
Ashara raised an eyebrow, her expression exactly like Nymeria's. "So you have made arrangements."
Viserys felt a little awkward. Had he known, he would not have put it that way, but he offered no explanation. Looking at his expression, Ashara suddenly smiled.
"Never mind. It's not as though I can tell you what to do anyway," she said, deliberately keeping her tone light. "Just don't forget me once I'm old and my looks have faded."
"How could I? I'll never forget you."
"Good."
She lifted her head, kissed Viserys lightly on the lips, then rolled out of bed.
"Come on, time to get up," she said. "Dany's still waiting for us to have dinner, and Rhaenys should be back soon, too."
The moment she finished speaking, a dragon's roar came from outside the window. Viserys walked straight over and saw a deep red figure rapidly approaching through the distant sky. Blackflame rarely came to the castle these days; he usually returned straight to the volcano or the Dragonpit beside it.
Meleys's scales shone with a metallic luster in the sunset, her outstretched wings spanning roughly fifteen meters. A slender girl in black-and-red riding clothes sat upright on her back.
A moment later, Meleys landed on the platform. When Rhaenys saw King Ghidorah lying there, she knew Viserys had returned. She leaped straight off her dragon's back and hurried toward the castle. Her hair was a little disheveled, but an excited smile lit her face.
When she ran into the dining room and saw Viserys, her smile instantly grew even brighter.
"Brother." She ran over and stopped in front of him, slightly breathless. "You're back."
