They flew high, but their shadows still fell across the streets of King's Landing.

The first to notice was a worker at the docks.

The man carrying cargo raised his head, intending to see what had blocked the sunlight overhead. Then he saw something he would never forget for the rest of his life. There were ten dragons in the sky.

In his shock, the wooden crate slipped from his hands and hit the ground, spilling spices everywhere, but he paid them no attention.

"Dragons..." The word seemed to squeeze out of his throat. "The sky is full of dragons."
