Viserys raised an eyebrow toward the door, released Ygritte's hand, and said, "Come in."

Warwick gently pushed the door open and stepped briskly inside, first bowing respectfully to Viserys.

Then, with a hint of excitement he could barely conceal, he said, "Your Majesty, Duke Robb sent me to invite you to the Crypt. We found a secret passage leading straight to the First Men's crypt on the lowest level. Ser Benjen and the others have already scouted it, and so far, they haven't found any danger."

At that, Viserys straightened his slightly rumpled clothes, then turned to Ygritte and said, "It looks like your reading lesson will have to end here today. I need to go take a look at the Crypt."

Hearing his words, Ygritte immediately stuck her pen into its holder, stood up, and grabbed the cloak Viserys had draped over the back of his chair, handing it to him in one brisk motion.

Then she said coaxingly, "Let me come with you. Those of us from Beyond the Wall are used to walking through dark places like crypts, much more than those noble lads are. I'm sure I can help somehow."

Viserys looked at Ygritte's sparkling pale blue eyes and the eagerness in them. In the end, he smiled and nodded, took the cloak, and slipped it on. Leading the way out, he said, "Then let's go. We'll see together what secrets lie buried beneath Winterfell."
