She could only close her eyes and slowly draw a deep breath, still trying to suppress those muddled thoughts. Only after lying there a little longer did she throw back the covers and sit up, rubbing the slightly sore back of her neck.

Inside the room, two maids who had originally served Margaery had already prepared warm water and clean, soft towels. Daenerys washed her face with the warm water and dried it with a towel, finally feeling a little more awake.

She quickly tidied herself up, gathered her sleep-tousled silver hair behind her head, carefully braided and tied it, then picked up "Silverwing" and buckled it at her side.

As she stepped outside, she glanced at the closed door next door. Seeing that it was still shut, with no sign that anyone inside was about to emerge, she felt a little surprised. She had not expected to be ready before they were.
