In the Asteroid Belt, Broly transformed into Super Saiyan 5, then beckoned to Beerus. "Lord Beerus, I'll let you make the first move."
Beerus couldn't stand that. Without a word, he flashed forward.
Then he unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks on Broly.
Broly folded his arms and enjoyed Beerus's "massage," even asking, "Lord Beerus, did you skip a meal? These hits are pretty weak."
Had Ultra Instinct not kept his emotions in check, Beerus would have exploded with rage on the spot.
Still, his attacks grew faster and harder.
Only then did Broly feel something. "Lord Beerus, now that's a decent amount of force."
At that, Beerus blasted an energy wave straight into his face.
When the dust cleared, Broly remained completely unharmed. He brushed the dust off himself and said, "Lord Beerus, I gave you a chance, but you couldn't make it count. Now it's my turn."
With that, he flashed in front of Beerus. Beerus threw a punch at Broly's face, but Broly ignored it and punched toward Beerus's abdomen.
Naturally, Beerus didn't dare trade blows with Broly. His punch wouldn't do a damn thing to Broly, while a punch from Broly might well send him to his grave.
So Ultra Instinct kicked in, and he dodged Broly's punch.
Broly's lips curled upward. "Lord Beerus, do you think your Ultra Instinct can do everything? Let me tell you: against absolute power, all those fancy tricks are useless."
With that, Broly vanished from in front of Beerus and appeared behind him, throwing a lightning-fast punch at his feline head.
Ultra Instinct kicked in, and Beerus tilted his head aside, but he was still a little too slow. Broly's fist struck his shoulder and sent him crashing into a distant asteroid, leaving another enormous crater in its surface.
