With that, he launched the first attack.
In a flash, he appeared before Beerus. Under Ultra Instinct, his fist shot straight toward Beerus's head without any conscious thought.
Beerus raised a single finger. Likewise acting without thought, he relied on his body's own awareness to block Goku's fist.
The two then resumed their "fierce" exchange of punches and kicks.
Goku No. 1's punches were as fast as lightning and as powerful as thunder. Dazzling afterimages made it impossible to distinguish real attacks from feints.
Yet even against such an assault, Beerus remained utterly at ease, blocking every one of Goku No. 1's attacks with a single finger.
Whis said, "Although they both use Ultra Instinct, the gap between their levels cannot be bridged. The combat power of the pinnacle level and the return-to-simplicity level is incomparable. Simply stacking Saiyan transformations on top of it cannot overcome that difference."
Broly said, "That's right. A difference in level isn't something a simple transformation boost can make up for. With the way Kakarot No. 1 stacks his transformations, he'd need to reach Super Saiyan 5 at the very least to defeat Beerus.
"And even then, he could only defeat Beerus in his current state."
Hearing this, Vegeta No. 1 said, "So you're saying Beerus could take Kakarot down in an instant?"
Broly nodded. "Exactly. He's just toying with Kakarot No. 1 right now."

Broly laughed. "Even together, you two would still get toyed with by Beerus."
