After bringing the Seven Sages of Meishan and the Three Thousand Grass-Headed Gods into Water Curtain Cave on Flower-Fruit Mountain, Son Goku gave the Howling Celestial Dog a kick.
Then he walked back out of the cave and brazenly began eating immortal peaches.
The gods and buddhas ground their teeth in fury at the sight.
The Great Heavenly Venerable looked around and said, "Who among you is willing to fight the demon monkey?"
The gods backed away. None of them wanted to fight the demon monkey.
Seeing this, the Great Heavenly Venerable said, "Marshal Tianpeng, I command you to lead One Hundred Thousand Heavenly Soldiers and generals down to the mortal realm and capture the demon monkey."
Realizing he could no longer avoid it, Marshal Tianpeng said, "I humbly obey the Great Heavenly Venerable's decree."
With that, he took up the Supreme Treasure Gold-Inlaid Rake and led One Hundred Thousand Heavenly Soldiers down to subdue the demon.
A short while later, Marshal Tianpeng and his One Hundred Thousand Heavenly Soldiers arrived in the skies above Flower-Fruit Mountain.
Tianpeng descended from the clouds onto Flower-Fruit Mountain and shouted at Son Goku, "You peach-stealing monkey! Come out and fight your grandpa Tianpeng! I'll show you just how mighty I am!"
"I was wondering who it was. So it's you, you lazy, gluttonous fool. Has the Heavenly Court run out of people? Is that why they sent you out to meet your doom?" Son Goku said with a laugh.
"What lazy, gluttonous fool? I am Marshal Tianpeng, commander of the hundred-thousand-strong Heavenly River Navy and foremost of the Four Sages of the North Pole. I have come on the Jade Emperor's orders to capture you. Surrender now if you know what's good for you, or I'll rake nine holes through you," Marshal Tianpeng
