"All right, Vegeta. Since you've made up your mind, I'll respect your decision," Son Goku said.
Whis smiled. "If Lord Beerus learned that two God of Destruction Candidates had emerged in his universe, he'd certainly feel it gave him plenty to brag about."
Son Goku considered Beerus's personality and decided that was entirely possible. He might even go around showing them off.
As for getting angry at Champa for poaching someone from his universe, Son Goku doubted Beerus would. He might instead mock Champa for how little talent Universe 6 had, since he couldn't find a single suitable God of Destruction Candidate in such a vast universe.
He wondered how Champa would argue back when the time came.
Half an hour later, a streak of radiant light appeared before the three of them. Vados and Champa had arrived.
Champa said to Vegeta, "Vegeta, have you made up your mind?"
Vegeta nodded without saying anything.
Champa didn't mind and continued, "Vegeta, if you want to train with me, you'll have to become my candidate. Think it through, because I'm not going to nurture talent for Beerus."
"No problem, Lord Champa," Vegeta replied. "I already thought that through when I decided to train with you."
"That's wonderful, Vegeta!" Champa said happily. "Become my candidate, and while I can't promise you'll surpass Son Goku, I can at least help you close the gap between you."
Vegeta nodded.
Vados turned to Whis. "Whis, are you really just going to let Vegeta go?"
Whis smiled. "Sister, have you forgotten? We're Angels. We're neutral and cannot interfere in anything that happens in the universes. Besides, divine law doesn't forbid someone from becoming the God of Destruction of another universe."
"Whis is right," Champa said. "Vados, focus on your own duties. Vegeta's decision is his to make.
