By the time Tang Tang had changed and washed up, Tang Beichen arrived.
"Why do you look so pale? Are you sick?"
Seeing Tang Tang's ashen face, Tang Beichen was startled. He reached out to touch her forehead. "Should we go to the hospital?"
"No."
Tang Tang dodged his touch. "I just had a nightmare last night."
Tang Beichen awkwardly withdrew his hand. "Oh, I see."
He put the things he had brought on the floor and sat down without waiting to be invited. "Are you staying away for the Mid-Autumn Festival again this year?"

Before Tang Tang graduated, Tang Beichen had suggested that she come back and work at his company.
But all she had wanted then was to escape that home and that city, so she had refused without a second thought. She hadn't gone home in the years since she started working. He had asked her to come home before, too, only for Tang Tang to refuse every time. Tang Beichen was used to it and had braced himself for another rejection this time.
"I'll think about it."
To his surprise, Tang Tang actually agreed this time.
"Huh?" Tang Beichen froze. "R-really?"
"Yes."
Tang Tang said flatly, "My home is there. I can't keep running away forever. I'll hand in my resignation, then come home and work at your company."
"Good. As long as you come home."
Tang Beichen straightened excitedly. "I'll make sure you get a good position. I'll take good care of you."
Tang Tang: "..."
