Looking at the garment that had been removed from him, he turned his gaze back to the impeccably dressed Chu Xuanzhen. "Isn't it my turn to ask a question?"
Perhaps his smile was too sly. The beast gave a quiet hum, gently stroked his cheek again with his thumb, and said, "Go ahead."
At that, Shen Yangge immediately focused all his attention and came up with a question Chu Xuanzhen would never figure out, no matter how hard he thought:

He had mentioned that he was going to the Northern States to accomplish something. Originally, he had wanted to ask what his purpose in going there was, but with Chu Xuanzhen's sharp mind, he felt it would not take him long to work it out.
