• Dai Mubai admitted defeat, but Canghui Academy's teacher demanded that Shrek Academy pay their group's bill as punishment.

• Liu Erlong killed an Azure Snake and weakened a Snow Deer, then told Jiang Zhu to finish the deer and absorb its Soul Ring.
• Dragon Duke and Snake Matriarch arrived with Meng Yiran and confronted Liu Erlong over the Azure Snake, reigniting their old grievance.
• Bai Yu stepped in, explained how Liu Erlong had saved him, and urged both sides to avoid fighting in the dangerous forest.

Meng Yiran and Jiang Zhu awoke in the cave and shared food and conversation with Bai Yu before a Jade Scale Serpent entered. After Meng Yiran and Bai Yu killed it, she began absorbing its Soul Ring while Bai Yu gave Jiang Zhu a Pistol, leaving Meng Yiran jealous.

• Meng Yiran and Jiang Zhu woke beside the dying campfire, and Bai Yu gave them water and helped them prepare a midnight meal.
• Jiang Zhu told Bai Yu she had been a level 26 Soul Grandmaster when she joined Blue Tyrant Academy, and Bai Yu said he had reached level 29 at age twelve.
• Meng Yiran heard her traps go off, and Bai Yu identified an approaching Jade Scale Serpent and arranged an ambush.

After gaining her third Soul Ring, Meng Yiran encountered Ning Rongrong and the poisoned Zhu Zhuqing being threatened by bandits in the Star Dou Great Forest. She intervened, but an unknown attacker suddenly killed one of the bandits, leaving the confrontation unresolved.

• Meng Yiran gained the Wind Sweeping Blade Soul Skill from her third Soul Ring, and she, Bai Yu, and Jiang Zhu set out to leave the forest.
• Ning Rongrong struggled to guide the poisoned Zhu Zhuqing toward the forest exit, and Zhu Zhuqing scared off a wild boar at the cost of worsening her condition.
• Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing encountered five bandits who hid human corpses and began surrounding them.
