"Oh."
Sakura Haruno lost some of her enthusiasm. After a soft murmur, she followed Luo Mang over to Kakashi.
And with that, they set off on the journey back.
Scrape, scrape.
With their captive being dragged along, there were no rowdy voices around them, only the relentless, grating noise of friction.
Luo Mang rubbed his head. After listening to it for so long, he felt as though the sound would play automatically in his mind even if he closed his eyes and plugged his ears.
Buzzing away...
[I actually ran into a crisis today. I never expected Zabuza to double back. He nearly killed me. My heart's still pounding...]
[I don't get it. He sold Haku out himself, and a whole day and night have already passed. There's at least a ninety percent chance Haku's dead. Even if Haku survived that remaining ten percent, they've probably already searched through Haku's memories. How could anyone stay normal after ninjutsu got inside their brain?]
[And he still came back, saying he wanted to take me to the grave with him. Sigh.]
[Is this what they mean by only learning to cherish something and regret it once it's gone?]
It was nothing more than a passing reflection.
He had no other thoughts about it. Those two were probably as good as dead once they fell into enemy hands.
He looked down at Zabuza's signature weapon, the Kubikiribōchō. Naturally, it was in Luo Mang's hands. After examining it closely, he found it rather ordinary, neither as imposing nor as powerful as he had imagined.
He might as well just throw a couple of shuriken...
"Luo Mang, do you have any plans for that Kubikiribōchō?"
Walking ahead of him, Kakashi caught the disdain on Luo Mang's face and asked.
*Don't just throw away a weapon
