They left the Hokage Building.
As they walked along the street, Tsunade was still studying Konan, a beauty who was just as mature as she was, but cool and aloof.
Could this really be the Konan who prepared five hundred billion Explosive Tags?
How much money would that cost?
The thought still shocked Tsunade every time, but the Video was right there. She had no choice but to believe it.
Her scrutiny was so obvious that Konan noticed.
"Lady Tsunade, you keep looking at me. Is there something on my face?"
Although it was a question, she also gave Tsunade an easy way out. She did not understand why Tsunade kept staring, but it probably had something to do with why she had come here.
Konan would have a hard time explaining if she were asked.
"Oh, hmm."
The answer was vague. Whether there was anything on her face remained unclear, but Tsunade took the offered way out anyway.
She led Konan around the village, though their stroll was really aimless. She had no idea what she was supposed to do.
What exactly did Hiruzen Sarutobi want her to do? She felt utterly lost. She simply did not understand.
They were just wandering around.
Konan was a little puzzled, too.
Didn't she say she would show me around? Even if we aren't sightseeing, shouldn't she take me somewhere to rest?
But Tsunade said nothing, and Konan did not know how to bring it up, so she could only follow.
Each was occupied with her own thoughts. One wondered why Konan had come, while the other wondered how she could meet Luo Mang.
Neither knew what to talk about along the way, making things rather awkward.
Tsunade occasionally glanced at her. Konan noticed this time but did not bring it up.
