Plot points and events
- Kusagakure’s leader, under attack and short of help, orders Uzumaki Kanako to be brought in to heal the wounded. His ninja also seize her young daughter, Karin, despite Kanako’s protests.
- Uchiha Sora encounters them on the way. After recognizing that the mother and daughter are being treated as healing tools, he kills the escorting ninja and promises to free them from that role.
- Sora takes Kanako and Karin to the battle, where Kusagakure’s forces are losing and civilians are fleeing. To limit harm and preserve the village he intends to take over, he orders his reanimated fighters to avoid civilians and uses hundreds of Shadow Clones to help rescue them.
- Sora then heads toward the wounded village leader to end the battle.
