She pressed her lips together, then sighed. Worrying here would accomplish nothing.
Something suddenly occurred to her, and she asked Kazumi, "By the way, did you see what forehead protectors those ninja were wearing?"
Kazumi thought back for a moment, then shook her head. "Lady Mito, those ninja weren't wearing forehead protectors at all. Even their clothes were all the same style..."
Disappointment crossed Mito's face. "So they've concealed their identities!"
"No matter. We only need to find out what ninjutsu they specialize in to work out who they are," Mito murmured, then said gravely, "Come on. Let's go meet these ninja..."
With that, Mito ran straight outside, her strides heavy and powerful.
