Looking at the masked, black-robed ninja before her, Yui clicked her tongue. "I didn't expect you to have company..."
Just then, another sharp surge of killing intent flashed beside her.
Sensing it, Yui dared not take any chances. She thrust her arm upward, instantly deflecting the Black-Robed Ninja's slash.
Then she twisted at the waist, dodged the other Black-Robed Ninja's attack, and immediately retreated to a safe distance from the two.
"You must be Danzo's men!"
Yui said sharply, "Is the man down below your companion?"
At this, the two black-robed ninjas exchanged bewildered looks. A trace of killing intent flashed in their eyes before one slowly asked, "Just who are you?"
"Yi Bing's life force has vanished. Did you kill him?" one of the black-robed ninjas demanded.
Yui's lips curled into a smile. "What if I did...?" she murmured.
With that, she stopped hesitating, tightened her grip on her kunai, and lunged toward them.
After all, even if she left Danzo's Root operatives alive, she would never get any important information out of them.
She might as well finish them off and spare herself trouble later.
"You..." The two black-robed ninjas were startled by Yui's sudden movement. They hadn't expected this woman to charge without another word.
Fortunately, their professional training kept them from panicking at this critical moment.
