"Creak..." The door swung shut.
Yui and Nai Hyuga returned to the Residence.
Nai Hyuga looked at Yui in confusion and asked, "Yui, why were you in such a hurry to come back?"
"Whew..." Yui steadied her breathing and told Nai Hyuga the plan she had in mind.
"..." After hearing her out, Nai Hyuga was visibly stunned. Resting her chin on her hand, she murmured, "We take the initiative?"
"Yes..." Yui nodded. "If we're going to honor our deal with Mito, this is the only way. Otherwise, once those ninja outside attack, we can't guarantee we'll be able to protect everyone."
"But can we really defeat that Raikage?" Nai Hyuga voiced her doubts. "Judging by Mito's expression earlier, the Raikage must be pretty strong!"
Yui nodded thoughtfully. "That is a problem. Neither of us could beat the Raikage one-on-one, though we could still escape."
"But now that you've mastered the Nine-Tails' power, things might be different. With the power of your Byakugan too, you should probably be able to win."
