"There's no danger!" Nai Hyuga stepped tentatively onto the second floor.

Yui followed behind her. Both remained alert; their surroundings were pitch-black, unlike the brightly lit first floor.

They used their Byakugan to inspect the area carefully. Only after finding nothing unusual did they relax their guard.

"Why isn't there anything here?" Yui surveyed their surroundings, puzzled. "If I remember correctly, I sensed something standing here not long ago."

Nai Hyuga shared Yui's confusion. "Could it have gone upstairs?"
