The monument was perfectly smooth and pure white, with strange black patterns carved into it. What surprised Yui was that it seemed to absorb all the sunlight shining on it, without reflecting even a trace.

At her words, Kazama Ya paused briefly, then hurriedly asked, "Is it white? With black patterns on it?"

"Yes," Yui answered distractedly, glancing behind her from time to time. The eyeball formed from Red Ants seemed to have stopped pursuing her and now hovered silently in the air, but it was still watching her.

Kazama Ya paused, then nodded. "Yes. That thing is terrifying. If it sees you, you can forget about ever leaving this desert."
