A vast swarm of Red Ants surged out from deep within the Desert like dark clouds blotting out the sky, heading straight for him.

"Damn it, how did these Red Ants get out?" Kazama Ya muttered curses, his eyes turning grave.

These inferior humans could not hurt him, but the Red Ants were another matter. With that power in their possession, they could suck him dry in moments.

At this critical juncture, he had no intention of playing around any longer. His fingers tightened around Nai Hyuga's neck, ready to finish her off immediately before fleeing this place.

Just then, a strange distortion formed in the air beside him and lunged straight at his face.

With that, he had no choice but to abandon the idea of killing Nai Hyuga. He pushed off lightly with both legs and drifted backward.
