Unlike her earlier motionless state, the Yui reflected in the Mirror had begun slowly turning her neck. It was as though someone long dead had suddenly come back to life.
Nai Hyuga and the other two took several deep breaths before focusing intently on Yui's every movement within the Mirror.
Inside the black mist space, Yui twisted her neck, producing a series of cracks and pops. The instant she opened her eyes, she realized her consciousness had returned to her "real body."
The first thing she did upon regaining consciousness was activate her Byakugan, taking in her surroundings with its full three-hundred-and-sixty-degree vision. Everything here was still pitch-black.
To her disappointment, the sliver of emerald green she had seen while leaving the Black Mist Vortex did not appear anywhere in her field of vision.
Yui sighed, feeling a little regretful. Shaking her head, she decided to stop dwelling on it. Perhaps she would get another chance to observe something else inside the Black Mist Vortex later. Who knew?
As she collected herself, the sight of Nai Hyuga before her gave her pause. She still did not know whether the Nai Hyuga outside could see what was happening here through the Mirror.
If Nai Hyuga could not see her, would she immediately put the lid back on the Gourd and wake her up?
Yui hoped not. She had only just arrived and had not even explored this strange place yet! Being woken up again would be frustrating.
Yui put those thoughts aside and focused on how to explore this space.
"I need to explore this entire black mist space as quickly as possible."
Muttering to herself, Yui shifted her body slightly, trying to escape the confinement of Nai Hyuga's arms.
