The words echoing in Nai Hyuga's ears calmed her restless emotions a little.
The two of them were right. She couldn't afford to be so impatient now. She had to calm down and find a solution.
After taking a few deep breaths, she raised the Mirror and looked into it again. The scene reflected on its surface remained fixed in place, without the slightest change.
"Nai Hyuga, try seeing if you can control the Mirror's viewpoint," Orochimaru suggested again.
At his words, Nai Hyuga thought for a moment, then nodded lightly. "All right, I'll try."
Looking at the Mirror in her hands, Nai Hyuga was just about to act when she realized there was a serious problem. How was she supposed to control its viewpoint?
She stared at the Mirror, momentarily at a loss for where to start. Should I use chakra? Nai Hyuga wondered.
Soon, she shook her head and dismissed the idea. She had already activated the Mirror by pouring chakra into it. Using more chakra wouldn't accomplish anything.
Orochimaru and Big Bear seemed to realize this as well, exchanging silent looks.
Orochimaru propped up his chin. After a while, an absurd suggestion came to him. He suddenly spoke up. "Nai Hyuga, why don't you try controlling it with your thoughts?"
Nai Hyuga froze at his words, glanced sideways at Orochimaru, and couldn't help rolling her eyes.
My thoughts? Isn't that something that only exists in novels? There's no such energy in the Shinobi World. Mental energy would be the closest plausible thing.
Despite thinking this, she still decided to give it a try. Who knew? It might actually work.
With that in mind, she looked back at the scene inside the Mirror. Staring at the frozen image, she silently commanded it in her mind.
