Nai Hyuga rested her chin in her hand, deep in thought. At one point, her train of thought faltered, and an idea welled up within her. It made her freeze, her eyes unfocused as she became absorbed in it.
But before she could consider the idea's feasibility in detail, the Mirror in her hand suddenly grew heavier.
The sudden change instantly snapped Nai Hyuga back to her senses, and she turned to look at the Mirror Surface.
What was going on? Why had the Mirror suddenly grown heavier? Had something strange happened to it?
For that instant, Nai Hyuga's heart was in her throat. She could only hope nothing had gone wrong with the Mirror, or she would be in trouble.
When she looked down, the sight stunned her. A little white mouse was clinging to the edge of the Mirror, leaning forward as though about to jump into the black veil on its surface.
"Xiao You? Why are you here? What are you trying to do?" Nai Hyuga reacted swiftly. The instant she saw Xiao You, she reached out, grabbed it by the scruff of its neck, and lifted it up.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Xiao You had been just about to jump, but its body suddenly rose into the air, beyond its control. It looked around before realizing that Nai Hyuga had grabbed it and stopped it from going any further.
"Nai Hyuga, what are you doing? Put me down right now..." Xiao You tried twisting its body to struggle free, but no matter how it moved, it could not escape.
"Hey, what exactly are you trying to do?" Nai Hyuga's expression instantly turned cold. Interrupting her thoughts was bad enough, but now Xiao You was making a fuss, too.
"Uh..." Seeing Nai Hyuga's expression darken, Xiao You sheepishly
