• Nie Yun reunited Xia Yao with the flood dragon and Xia Xing, then learned that the Asura King sought a Heart of the Six Paths in Huntian World.
• Nie Yun and Tantai Lingyue traveled to the Zhou Tian Realm, where Shakya Buddha Ancestor and Yan Zhi tested them before Tantai Xuyu revealed himself as Lingyue’s grandfather.

The Asura King confronted him and Tantai Lingyue, then regained control of the Confucian Realm’s Heavenly Dao after Nie Yun’s attack helped him refine it.

• The Lord of the Dao Realm’s recorded memories revealed his sacrifices during the ancient Asura calamity, and Tantai Lingyue advanced to the half-step Heaven-Repelling Realm before returning with Nie Yun to Lian Yue Pavilion.
• Ephemeral Old Man suggested forging Nie Yun a sword from Hellfrost Crystals and named the Seven-Colored Phoenix Plume, the Heavenly Lord’s Sacred Canon, and Shuhu’s blood essence as the needed materials.
• Nie Yun persuaded Little Dragon to meet the Netherworld Phoenix King, who gave Nie Yun her Seven-Colored Phoenix Plume and revealed she had restored Little Dragon’s master and fellow disciples with new bodies.

Nie Yun and his allies fought the Asura King through the destruction of the Six Paths, ending with Tantai Lingyue becoming the Heavenly Dao. Nie Yun and Nie Tong then entered the wider Chaos World to seek answers and reached Holy Sage Youlian’s palace.

• Sage Qiu sacrificed the Confucian Realm’s people and himself to reclaim its Heavenly Dao, but the Asura King survived and advanced as Tantai Lingyue and Nie Yun fought him.
• Nie Yun forged the Dawn Sword, broke through to the Heaven-Repelling Realm, and pursued the Asura King through the ruined Dao Realm and Buddhist Realm as both realms fell to Chaos.
• Ephemeral Old Man sacrificed himself, and Nie Yun lured the Asura King into the Third World, where Xue Jing’er used her Soul Stone to awaken Nie Tong’s soul inside him.
• Nie Tong seized control of his body, but the Asura King used the Soul Stone to reach the Heaven-Slaying Realm, forcing Nie Yun to begin his ninth Nirvana as allies sacrificed themselves to aid him.
• Nie Yun completed his Nirvana and defeated the Asura King, but the king’s final attack destroyed the Heavenly Dao of the remaining realms, and Tantai Lingyue merged with heaven and earth to preserve them.
• Nie Yun and Nie Tong left the Six Paths aboard the Dragon Boat Ancient Ship and entered a vast world beyond the Chaos Storm, where they encountered Qing Yu and Nian Hua.
• Nie Yun and Nie Tong reached the Red Lotus Sect, subdued its elders, and learned the Asura King might be Ashoka King before the middle-aged woman led them to Youlian Palace.
