• Nie Tong defeated Shang Quan in a sword duel, then Nie Yun accepted Ji Xuan’s challenge and killed him in a Heaven-Seizing Battle.
• Nie Yun and Nie Tong ranked first and second in the tournament, and Nie Yun entered Library Pavilion to seek a way to revive Tantai Lingyue.
• Nie Yun learned that reviving a Heavenly Dao reincarnation required reversing time, then returned to the Six Paths of Heaven and Earth and tried to turn back time with a Dominator Talisman Seal.

Nie Yun seized the Three Great Sects’ tokens and treasures in Chaos Mountain, then used their losses to secure Guixu Sea’s place in God’s Relic. Inside the sealed domain, he faced an ambush and killed Yu Zhu with the Heavenly Heart Vine.

• Nie Yun killed Feng Zhen after catching him forcing the disciples to swear a Chaos Oath against him, then set out to collect the Three Great Sects’ tokens.

Nie Yun led Gu Xiao’s group into the Ten Absolutes Ancient Land, gained the Mystic Cicada King and Gui Yuan as Demon Pets, and seized Chaos King Stones from the Extreme Heaven King’s palace. After Prince Fu Jiang escaped, Nie Yun set out for Soul Severance Land to find Green Leaf King and learn the temple’s location.

• Nie Yun killed Ming Cheng and his disciples, took control of the Sealing Stone Tablet, and escaped Mo Yao’s pursuit with Gu Xiao’s group.
• Nie Yun led the group into the Ten Absolutes Ancient Land, defeated the Demon God Ancient Bears, and made their king, Xiong Gu, his Demon Pet.
• Nie Yun tracked down the Mystic Cicada King, restored its wings after other fighters stole them, and fused the wings with his Phoenix Wings.
• Nie Yun entered the Deathland with the Mystic Cicada King and followed Prince Fu Jiang’s group to the Extreme Heaven King’s palace, where they stole Chaos King Stones.
• Nie Yun killed Jiu Zhao and captured Hu Wei inside the palace, then escaped the turtle’s shell and subdued Extreme Heaven King by refining its shell.
• Nie Yun and his allies ambushed Prince Fu Jiang’s group and killed Zhang Zhuo and Zhou Tong, but Fu Jiang escaped in his Dominator Robe.

Nie Yun climbed the Heaven-Connecting Path, entered the Ancient Battlefield, and took control of its treasures after defeating Su Lin and the others. He learned that Nie Tong had to complete three tasks to reclaim control from the Asura King's remnant, then left the battlefield to investigate the corpse controlling the Ten Absolutes Ancient Land before returning to the Divine Temple.

• Nie Yun revealed his connection to the Asura King, learned that the Divine Temple lay in the Ancient Battlefield on Gui Yuan’s back, and chose to climb the Heaven-Connecting Path.
• Nie Yun climbed the chain without using his power, endured its trials, and opened the rune-covered door leading into the Ancient Battlefield.
• Nie Yun followed Su Lin and the others into the Divine Temple, took the Wine Immortal Gourd, and used the Sealing Stone Tablet to refine the Territory Map.
