After defeating Lu Tao’s schemes and using Lu Xi’s iron tablet to overcome ancient sword intent, Nie Yun entered the Sword Pool and found a thatched hut beyond it.

• Nie Tong endured Myriad Swords Devouring Heart, broke through to the early-stage Emperor Realm, and reached Sword Spirit Valley, while Nie Yun passed the trial by expanding his Fusion Domain and suppressing his breakthrough.
• The High Priest offered Nie Yun and Nie Tong a choice between entering the Inner Valley and accepting rewards, and Nie Yun chose to enter despite the High Priest’s efforts to drive them away.
• Lu Yunzi explained that outsiders might help Sword Spirit Valley escape its bloodline curse and told Nie Yun about Great Emperor Lu Xi’s inheritance and the Sword-Grinding Stones.
• Nie Yun defeated Lu Tao’s group in a restaurant wager, winning Sword Rice, swords, and sword techniques before agreeing to risk his Inner Valley qualification in another challenge.

After discovering that the beasts collecting the stones were transformed Sword-Grinding Stones, the brothers prepared to pursue the tiger pack on the trial’s final night.

• Nie Yun escaped the Sword Pool Heart with Lu Xi’s blood, then joined Lu Yunzi’s faction and resisted the High Priest’s attempts to punish him.
• Nie Yun poisoned Lu Bo, Lu Meng, and others, forcing the High Priest and Lu Bo’s family to pay one million jin of Sword Rice before he cured them.
• Nie Tong refined the Corpse Core and reached peak Emperor Realm, and Nie Yun gave him Lu Xi’s blood before the brothers entered the Inner Valley with Lu Xuan and Lu Beihuang.
• Separated in the Inner Valley, Nie Yun followed the Sword Dao to find Sword-Grinding Stones and discovered wolves stealing them from other trial participants.

Nie Yun and Nie Tong turned the Sword Pool trial against Lu Xuan and the High Priest, while Nie Tong gained Great Emperor Lu Xi’s inheritance. After returning to Yunzhou City, Nie Yun prepared for the Myriad Realms Feather Robe contest and faced a search of his clinic.

• Nie Yun and Nie Tong discovered Lu Xuan had forced the War Dragon Beasts to surrender stones, then Nie Yun drew Lu Xuan away so Nie Tong could hunt alone.
• Nie Yun exposed Lu Xuan’s theft of the trial participants’ stones, then led the Sword Attendants into battle with the War Dragon Beasts and helped Nie Tong collect fifty-three stones.
• Nie Yun and Nie Tong entered Lu Xi’s underground palace, where Lu Xi explained the blood essence and talisman’s role in testing and protecting the heir.
• The mirror awarded Lu Xuan forty-six Sword Intent Talismans and Nie Tong fifty-three, after which the High Priest tried to kill the brothers.
• The High Priest attacked Nie Yun and the priests, but Nie Tong appeared with Lu Xi’s inheritance, took control of Sword Spirit Valley, and defeated him.

• Nie Yun entered Prince Duobo’s estate, captured Elder Hong Yuan and five death warriors, and raided the prince’s treasury for Extreme Arctic Ice and other treasures.
• Nie Yun infiltrated Prince Liu Mu’s residence, stole his puppet figurine and Storage Ring during Liu Mu’s breakthrough, and gained the complete Puppet Dao by refining the figurine.
• Nie Yun and Prince Ru Xia attended the Myriad Realms Feather Robe Contest, where the Puntian Great Emperor announced that contestants had one day to retrieve a Fire Dragon Heart from the Fire Dragon Abyss.
