After stumbling along with this book for so long, I finally managed to bring it to a successful conclusion, and I'm really happy right now.
From first posting the book to getting signed, I'd originally just been writing for fun. But once I got signed, I had no choice but to grit my teeth and keep writing.
How should I put it? This book was a total collapse, and its performance was terrible. It did all right at first, but this was my first time writing a book, and I had no experience. As I kept writing, it turned into a power fantasy with an invincible protagonist.
Later on, people often called it padded, and I admit there was indeed some padding. Still, I managed to wrap it up properly without leaving out any of the points I needed to cover: revenge, growth, and, as far as romance went, a single female lead. I'd originally wanted to make Huo Xingling a female lead too, but as I kept writing, that idea just vanished from the story. Honestly, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
Overall, I'm still very satisfied. Although I occasionally missed updates, I made up every chapter I owed. Keeping my word was what mattered, and I successfully brought the book to its conclusion. No matter how hard it got, I wanted to give everyone a proper answer and put a satisfying final period on my first book.
