Frank set a black metal case on the table and opened it.
There were no guns inside.
Instead, four blocks of C-4 lay in a neat row.
"At midnight tonight, we blow up the docks," he said. "Kingpin, the Ten Rings-modified soldiers, the weapons, and every ledger. We bury them all."
Peter shot to his feet.
"No!"
Frank looked up at him. "You haven't even asked how many people are at the docks."
"Because I know." Peter pointed at the floor plan Damon had projected.
"The eastern warehouse has workers' quarters, and there's a loading crew to the south. At least thirty-seven people. If you plant explosives under the load-bearing columns, the shock wave will bring down the entire dock complex."
"Then warn them to leave first."
"Kingpin won't give us time."
"That's why we have to move fast."
Frank pressed a finger against the detonator, making its metal casing click softly.
The basement suddenly fell silent.
Yang Ming glanced at the C-4. "What's the blast radius?"
"Enough to clear an area," Frank replied.
"And enough to tear anyone who doesn't get out in time in half."
"If they stay there, they've already put their lives in Kingpin's hands."
"That's Kingpin's fault, not theirs."
Yang Ming closed the metal case.
Frank's gaze turned cold. "You want to save everyone?"
"I want to find out who's still alive first." Yang Ming pointed at the map. "There are three underground utility passages beneath the northern cold storage facility. Fifteen minutes is enough for the workers in the eastern warehouse to evacuate through them. Your explosives would destroy the exits first."
"Fifteen minutes?" Frank scoffed. "The Ten Rings-modified soldiers could kill them all in three."
"Then make them spend those three minutes on us."
The communicator on the table suddenly lit up.
