In the rain, a silver axe blade suddenly rose.

Peter had barely shouted, "Watch out!" when the container beneath his feet buckled inward. The gravity field bore down again, and the webs he fired dropped into the pooled water.

Harry swept his right arm across.

Dark red bone pushed through the gaps in his armor, and his five fingers clamped onto the battle-axe swinging toward him.

Crack!

The axe blade shattered.

Scorching metal splashed across his faceplate, blocking half his vision. Harry dropped to one knee and braced the container panel pressing down on Peter.

"Can you still move?"

"Yeah. Just don't let go."

Peter flipped behind him, pressed his wrist to the ground, and sent a web sliding along the panel to wrap around the gravity-enhanced man's ankle.

He didn't try to haul him in by force.

"Right, two steps!"

Harry shifted under the crushing weight, his shoulder armor scraping out a shower of sparks.

The web pulled taut, yanking their opponent into the railing and knocking his raised palm half an inch off target.

The pressure on Peter's chest abruptly eased.

He grabbed Harry's shoulder and vaulted up, kicking the enhanced man in the jaw. Harry immediately lashed out with a dark red whip, knocking the reforming metal body off the ground.

They landed together.

Peter stared at that arm.

"You really only practiced with the Glass Beads seventeen times?"

"Eighteen. You missed one."

Frank's voice cut into the Communicator.

"One less conversation means one less chance for them to get back up."

Gunfire followed immediately.

Clinging to the outer wall of the Control Room, Felicia heard the reminder.

She didn't smile.

A dozen meters below her, Kingpin's men were still firing toward Cold Storage. Damon kept one window pinned down, while Mindy slipped through during a reload
