Qiao Hua felt a faint stir in her heart. "That fast?"

Before long, Lin Chao came in, followed by a woman dressed like an office worker.
At the sight of Qiao Hua, guilt flashed across the woman's face. She lowered her head, not daring to look at her.

Back in the break room, this woman had bad-mouthed her along with Liao Anna.
Seated in his leather chair, Gu Wenze looked at the woman expressionlessly. "Were you the one spreading rumors about Qiao Hua at the company?"
The woman maintained a composed expression. "President Gu, I don't understand what you're talking about."
As though he had expected her denial, Gu Wenze let out a mocking chuckle and tossed the documents in his hand in front of her.
The woman picked them up, and her face paled as soon as she saw their contents.
They were none other than records of her chats with other coworkers.
And those records showed her spreading rumors about Qiao Hua.
