Under Sean's visible observation, the Sovereign Artifact might on the surface of the devoured Wind-type Longsword Sovereign Artifact was gradually disappearing;
Meanwhile, the Soul Pearl emitted a palpitating energy. Yet this energy seemed to pose no threat to Sean; instead, it held a faint attraction for him;
This attraction grew stronger and stronger, and Sean's divine sense suddenly detected an even more terrifying, immense force of soul power;
Boom~
Countless images and fragments suddenly appeared in his mind. They seemed to be fragments of someone else's memories, yet they were blurry and indistinct;
In the blink of an eye, the first Sovereign Artifact turned directly into ashes. The second also began to be drawn in. The Soul Pearl continued devouring the Lord God Might from the Sovereign Artifacts, while the various memory fragments in Sean's mind grew more numerous;
After observing for quite a while, Sean finally came to a tentative conclusion. He said in shock, "This Soul Pearl contains fragments of the memories of Sovereigns who died in the past?"
At first, he did not understand some of the information conveyed by the images he received from the Soul Pearl. It was not until he saw scenes of flight through Space Turbulence that he became certain. These were memories of Sovereigns. Only Sovereigns could fly through Space Turbulence;
What followed were scenes of Sovereigns battling, but they seemed extremely blurry, leaving him unable to see who their opponents were.
Yet one image left a deep impression on him. Before the owner of that memory died, he saw four divine beasts ahead, each over ten thousand meters long: Azure Dragon to the left, White Tiger to the right, Vermilion Bird above, and Black Tortoise below;
The entire Space Turbulence seemed to have been frozen. Even across countless trillions of years, Sean seemed able to feel the terrifying might of that attack.
"Is this the legendary Four Divine Beasts Combined Innate Divine Ability?"
Sean felt somewhat horrified. He still seemed to be affected by the memories of the Sovereign killed by the Four Divine Beasts, as though he had truly experienced that attack. It was a feeling of helplessness—unable to move, unable to evade, able only to wait for the enemy's ultimate attack~
After quite some time, once he had steadied himself, Sean began examining the other memories bit by bit. Most were blurry, while some were much clearer. It seemed that the older the Sovereign, the blurrier the memories became;
Moreover, these were not necessarily memories from before death. For instance, he saw a scene that seemed to depict the struggle for Sovereign Sparks at the dawn of creation. In other words, the memories within the Soul Seed belonged to dead Sovereigns, but with the passage of time, only particularly unforgettable events had been preserved.
"So many Sovereign memories, yet they don't seem very useful?"
After examining them for some time, Sean saw that the fourth Sovereign Artifact was gradually losing its energy. He did not waste any more time and continued watching. Even if they were not useful, he could not let so many Sovereign Artifacts go to waste. Learning about events from the past of certain Sovereigns would at least provide some entertainment.
"Huh, this memory is so clear~"
Sean seemed to enter an exceptionally vivid world:
In the first image, he picked up a Golden Bead. No matter what he did, he could not damage it in the slightest, nor could he bind it with blood;
In the second image, the man stood before a Mysterious Black Pool roughly a hundred meters in diameter. Before long, the pool's energy fluctuated intensely, and a person with twelve wings emerged from within;
In the third image, he fought a Light Attribute Lord God. One Death God Avatar and one Dark Lord God Clone joined forces to besiege the Light Attribute Lord God, yet they could not defeat him. In the end, the Death God Avatar was killed. However, the Dark Lord God Clone threw a Destiny Attribute Crystal into the distance, and the Light Attribute Lord God actually chose that crystal rather than the Death Lord Godhead. In the end, he seized back the Sovereign Spark that had been taken from him;
In the fourth image, he was on a plane, gathering a vast amount of Dark Lord God Power to form a Magic Array, then burying the Death Lord Godhead within it;
In the fifth image, he actually fought the same Light Attribute Lord God again. For some reason, his combat power had become far greater than before, and he was crushing the Light Attribute Lord God in battle. But suddenly, a Destiny Attribute God Sword appeared in the Light Attribute Lord God's hand and shattered his weapon with a single slash. However, it was blocked by a Golden Bead;
What followed was a chase between the two. The Light Attribute Lord God was clearly in the stronger position, yet this man was still able to keep pace with the Light Attribute Lord God wielding that special divine artifact, and they flew toward a Material Plane;
Just as they were about to arrive, he suddenly discovered that a Destiny Lord God in the form of a kindly old man had appeared beside him. With a single Soul Attack, he was killed.
The images ended after his death.
"That man was Bright Master Augusta, and the weapon in his hand was also a Destiny Supreme Divine Artifact. That old man was Orloff." After watching, Sean was greatly shocked. "My Soul Pearl actually appeared in those images as well."
Clearly, that Dark and Death Dual Attribute Lord God had once obtained the Soul Pearl too. At the final moment, he had even used it to block the Destiny Supreme God Sword. In other words, the marks on the Soul Pearl had actually been inflicted by the Supreme God Sword;
Through the memory images of that slain Sovereign, he also seemed to have witnessed the process of a Supreme God Mission being completed.
"To make Augusta abandon the Death Lord Godhead, it had to be a Destiny attribute treasure. And the Supreme God Sword appeared again in the fifth image. The core of their conflict must have been a Supreme God Relic."
Sean guessed inwardly;
But why had that Dark Lord God suddenly become so much stronger in the end? If the Supreme God Sword had not appeared, he would have been able to crush Augusta completely.
Could he have broken through to Paragon at the end?
That seemed to be the only possibility that could explain such a leap in strength. Otherwise, one of his divine avatars had already been killed, yet he still went looking for death. With his original strength, even if Augusta had not possessed a Supreme Divine Artifact, Augusta would still have been stronger than him.
Unfortunately, he was ultimately killed by Orloff.
But what happened to the Soul Pearl after his death was unknown;
The Soul Pearl seemed to contain only memories of Sovereigns before their deaths. Nothing remained of what happened after they died.
In the end, all six Sovereign Artifacts disappeared, but Sean gained unexpected information: a Death Lord Godhead had been sealed within a Material Plane by a Sovereign. It was similar to how, in the original story, Beirut had sealed Sovereign Sparks in the Yulan Plane to prevent Bright Master from obtaining the other Sovereign Sparks after his death;
Unless a Sovereign was born in that plane, no one could possibly take it away;
Furthermore, judging from this man's strength when he fought Augusta in the Soul Pearl's images, both his Dark and Death aspects should have been Mid-level Lord Gods. Otherwise, he would not have had even the slightest chance;
In other words, another Material Plane contained a Mid-level Death Lord Godhead;
The problem now was: what was that plane called?
